An excellent student and natural athlete, Victoria dreamed of becoming an Olympic swimmer from the time she was 5 years old. She trained and swam and attained regional ranking. She was on her way.
This is the 10th Paralympic Winter Games, so these games are being touted as X Paralympic Winter Games. Five events will take place this council worker coronation street from March 12-21. The events will be Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Wheelchair Curling, and Sledge Hockey.
The how can a paralyzed person walk again known as "the Viper," Randy Orton, took to the ring to confront his rival, CM Punk. Despite a prior leg injury, Orton was able to have an excellent match. After Punk landed various shots with his feet, Orton mounted a comeback, and superplexed Punk off the top rope. The injured Orton then was able to deliver a DDT to Punk, also off the ropes. As Punk attempted to recover, Orton continued the attack, and tried to punt Punk. However, Orton's leg gave out, and he writhed in pain for some time. Recovering, Orton then attempted one of two RKOs. The first of these was avoided by Punk, who slid out of the ring. Punk then slingshotted himself back in the ring, but was caught in a mid-air RKO by the canny veteran from St. Louis. Orton then scored the pin, ending the contest.

Chantal worked extremely hard to become the athlete she is today. I believe her courage, willpower, and perseverance, helped her to achieve Paralympics status! She is a world class Canadian hero, a hero of determination, hope and freedom and that is why Chantal Petitclerc is the top Canadian Hero of 2008.
